Dodital Trek

Dodital is situated at an altitude of 3307mt. Dodital trekking makes an excellent trek to Dodital Lake. The Dodital lake is surrounded by beautiful pine and oak forests, rhododendron clusters, and has a large variety of Himalayan birds.

The source of Dodital lake is River Asi Ganga that merges with the River Bhagirathi near Gangotri. For a fine view of the magnificent Bandarpoonch peak (6387m), you could climb up a little from the lake. A further climb also leads to Hanumanchatti (2400m), the roadhead to Yamunotri (30km), through the Aineha pass (3667m), and offers some of the best views of the Himalayas.

Day 2

Morning drive from Uttarkashi to Sangamchatti. (Drive : 15km)
Start trek from Sangamchatti to Agoda (2250 mt.) (Trek : 5km)
Arrival at Agoda.
Lunch at day time.
After lunch some activities.
Over night stay.

Day 3

Start trek from Agoda to Manjhi (2800 mt.) (Trek : 10km)
Arrival at Manjhi.
Lunch at day time.
After lunch some activities.
Over night stay.

Morning trek from Manjhi to Dodital (3310 mt.) (Trek : 6km)
Arrival at Dodital.
Enjoy the beauty of Dodital.
Over night stay.

Day 5

Morning trek from Dodital to Darwa Top (4150 mt.) (Trek : 5km)
Height gain at Darwa Top.
Back to Dodital.
Over night stay.

Day 6

Trek back from Dodital to Agoda. (Trek : 16km)
Arrival at Dodital.
Over night stay.

Day 7

Morning start trek from Agoda to Sangamchatti. (Trek : 4km)
Drive from Sangamchatti to Rishikesh. (Drive : 170km)
Arrival at Rishiesh / Haridwar.
Drop at Rishikesh / Haridwar.
